ContemPlate Cuisine is founded by Davis Nix, Vinicio Cifuentes, and Avery. It’s mission is to explore the world of culinary possibility, in every delicious way possible. Your meal should invoke thought, a waking meditation. We invite you to enjoy and contemplate

Vinicio Cifuentes has a well rounded culinary experience in both front and back of house operations. The most traveled out of the three, his background in Guatemalan, Italian, baking, pastry, and vast knowledge brings a world-class perspective to your table.

Davis Nix has a formidable and polished skillset and natural talent in any kitchen of any type, with a background in regimented world-class back of house Escoffier brigades, and high volume grindhouses alike. He now applies that work ethic to front of house disciplines, including a new foray into sommelier training and club management.

With a broad spectrum and rounded background similar to Davis, and interests similar to both he and Vinicio, Avery plays with proteins, tries conspiracy theory room levels of flavor combinations, and tries not to burn everything.
